Position Overview
Our firm is experienceing an explosive growth nationwide; therefore we are seeking a creative, outgoing and dynamic Business Development Professional to join our team. As an employee of JCB Partners' you'll see many opportunities for you to grow your career.
Qualifications:
- At least 4-5 years selling technology services and solutions
- Must have a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quota in a new business "hunter" role, selling enterprise software solutions and professional services (experience with technical sales)
- Experience selling solutions and services related to Cognos, Business Objects, Hyperion, Informatica, Teradata, and other Performance Management technology offerings
- Proven track record of quota achievement
- Demonstrated effective time management, territory management, and account management skills
- Professional presence to sell to director level and above contacts
- Excellent communicator who can articulate the business value of JCB and its associated offerings
- Must be business driven and understand and implement the principles of solution selling
- Experience in an Enterprise consulting company would be a major plus
- BS or higher or significant experience
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow a client base
- Make telephone sales calls and conduct in-person meetings with key managers to senior-level executives, for the purpose of selling our services to prospective clients and building on existing client relationships
- Responsible for solidifying JCB's presence in the local marketplace through consistent participation in networking organizations and events
- Relationship building (becoming a valued partner to our clients)
- Ensuring corporate and personal sales goals/quota are met
- Executes sales plans and programs to ensure profit growth and expansion
- Strategize with teammates to accomplish weekly business growth goals
- Researches and investigates new opportunities and sales leads in an effort to expand account base, sales and design wins
- Keeps abreast of changes/updates in product lines and trends within the market place through training and other sources
- Consults with consulting team for client support as required
- Assists consulting team with quotes and expediting orders. Follows up with sales orders and assists with resolving discrepancies
- Tracks all activity in Salesforce.com or other related CRM tool as designated by the organization
